The UF College of Veterinary Medicine’s  2013 Division 5 Superior Accomplishment Award winners were honored, along with other university winners, at a luncheon held March 15 at the Paramount Hotel. The program recognizes staff members who contribute outstanding and meritorious service, efficiency and/or economy, or to the quality of life provided to students and employees.

Division 5 includes all employees of the UF Academic Health Center. Division-level award recipients receive cash awards of $200 each, and then compete for university-level awards, which offer eight $1,000 and six $2,000 cash awards.

The college’s winners were: Dr. Carsten Bandt and Dr. Mansour Mohamadzadeh (Faculty category); Andy Kellenberger (Administrative/Supervisory category); Kim Ahrens (Scientific/Technical); Betty Kay Pilcher, Micheline Sullivan and Terri Weldon (Clerical/Office Support).
