  • An article featuring a study by Dr. Dennis Brooks on cataract surgery in the horse appeared in the May issue of Modern Equine Vet.
  • Stories about the grand opening of UF’s new Equine Sports Performance Complex appeared in Horsetalk, in American Equestrian Alliance, in All About Horses and in the Gainesville Sun.
  • Dr. Rob MacKay was a source in several stories relating to the possible role of a compounded drug in the deaths of thoroughbred horses, several of which were treated at UF. Stories appeared in Daily Racing Forum,  in TheHorse,  inThe Blood-horse and in several other news reports.
  • A story relating to the UF Forensic Medicine program and recent findings in a case involving cat deaths in the Lakeland area appeared in the Examiner.
