Robert Bowden, a clinical veterinary microbiology technician with the UF Veterinary Diagnostic Labs, was featured in the careers issue of Cultures, the magazine of the American Society of Microbiology. He talks about what inspired him to pursue a career in the veterinary field and what intrigues him about the field of veterinary microbiology.

CVM executive director & UF VETS leader John Haven represented the college in Malta recently at a multinational conference. Twenty-four volunteer rescue teams from 14 countries gathered to participate in educational sessions and training simulations for urban search and rescue, cliff rescue and high angle rescue.
