Dr. Amanda House, a clinical associate professor of large animal medicine at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine, has received the Florida Veterinary Medical Association’s Gold Star Award for her contributions to the profession.

Dr. Dana Zimmel has been named associate dean for clinical services and chief medical officer for the college.
