Employees honored with Superior Accomplishment Awards

The UF College of Veterinary Medicine’s  2014 Division 5 Superior Accomplishment Award winners were honored, along with other university winners, at a luncheon held March 12 at the Paramount Hotel in Gainesville. The program recognizes staff members who contribute outstanding and meritorious service, efficiency and/or economy, or to the quality of life provided to students and employees.

Division 5 includes all employees of the UF Academic Health Center. Division-level award recipients receive cash awards of $200 each, and then compete for university-level awards, which offer eight $1,000 and six $2,000 cash awards.

The college’s winners were: Dr. Chris Sanchez and Dr. Amy Stone (Academic Personnel); Debbie Couch, Danielle Jonas and David Segura(Administrative/Supervisory category); Micaela “Mimi” Barter, Liane Dillon, Holly Kitchen and Jennifer Sager (Scientific/Technical); Shellie Evers and Kia Hendrix (Clerical/Office Support).
