Administrator, founding faculty member Dr. John Harvey retires
Dr. John Harvey, the college’s executive associate dean and a founding faculty member, retired in August after 40 years of service. His career and contributions were celebrated at several receptions, one held by the department of physiological sciences, his academic home, and two others held by the college. Faculty, staff, former students and alumni joined Dr. Harvey’s friends and family members in acknowledging the key role he has played in college life as well as to the field of veterinary medicine, specifically within his field of clinical pathology. We do expect to continue to see Dr. Harvey around as a professor emeritus, and wish him all the best in this new phase of his life.
