Zoetis and My Veterinary Career sponsored and participated in the UF Veterinary Business Management Association’s 2014 Senior Career Day recently. Senior UF veterinary students were able to conduct mock interviews, share resumes and otherwise network about putting their best foot forward as they seek jobs following graduation from veterinary school next May.

Risco presented Drost with the plaque, which notes his recent induction into the Cattle Production Veterinarian’s Hall of Fame, on Nov. 21. during the department’s traditional holiday luncheon.
This 22-foot inflatable right whale appeared in the CVM courtyard recently, thanks to efforts by Dr. Mike Walsh, co-director of the Aquatic Animal Health Program. Walsh was able to borrow the whale from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association to educate his students about the species as part of a course he teaches.
