Students fight it out in fun during “Class Wars”

Veterinary medical students from UF participated in a full day of fun events April 17 in hopes of claiming bragging rights for their classes during “Class Wars.”

Activities were held at Squirrel Ridge Park, and consisted “pretty much of a giant field day,” said Alexandra Avelino, the preveterinary advisor in the college’s Office for Students and Instruction.

There were 15 events in all, including an egg toss, dodgeball, a pie-eating contest and more, Avelino said.

“The classes of 2016 and 2017 combined forces and won,” she added.

Here are a few photos from the event.
