Staff members honored for service

Several members of the UFCVM staff were honored for their years of service during a ceremony held May 25 at the college.

Current employees were honored in the administration, hospital and departmental categories in increments of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service. Those who were acknowledged at the ceremony, including administrative, UF Veterinary Hospitals and departmental personnel, included:

5 Years: Rachel Barker, April Bennett, Courtney Bennett, Blanca Carbia, Cynthia Coalter, Chiquitha Crews, Shellie Evers, Kristy Huber, Karen Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Holly Kitchen, Kristen Lyon, Vickie Moore and Suzanne Pereau.

10 Years: Rachel DiSesa, Heather Hatch, Melissa Headrick, Linda Howard, David John, Jude Kaufmann, Jennifer Laffey, Glen Mapes, Genevieve Mendoza, Maria Ransone, Kelly Riggs, Erin Sanetz and Patrick Thompson.

15 Years: Melissa Gifford and Melanie Rose.

20 Years: Christine Best and Lisa Morris.

25 Years: Sarah Carey and Dot McColskey.

30 Years: Kim Ahrens, Delores Foreman, Kim Koelbal and Theresa Medrano.

Two employees who served the college for 35 years but retired earlier this year were Diane Heaton-Jones and Marsha Swilley.
