Robert Bowden, a clinical veterinary microbiology technician with the UF Veterinary Diagnostic Labs, was featured in the careers issue of Cultures, the magazine of the American Society of Microbiology. CVM executive director & UF VETS leader John Haven represented the college in Malta recently at a multinational conference. Twenty-four volunteer rescue teams from 14 countries gathered to participate in educational sessions and training simulations for urban search and rescue, cliff rescue and high angle rescue.
