• News outlets, including CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times, quoted Dr. Heather Walden in stories about the rat lungworm parasite having been diagnosed in two visitors to Hawaii recently, along with three residents over the past.
• A story noting the continuation of a successful program through which the UF College of Veterinary Medicine partners with Miami-Dade Animal Services to provide veterinary students with valuable experience working at a large municipal shelter appeared in The Independent Florida Alligator.
