Kimberly Johns

Kimberly Johns, a research administrator in the college’s Office of Research and Graduate Studies, was recently honored by an international group for a paper she submitted in the group’s annual competition.

Johns’ paper, titled “Certification for Research Administrators: An RA’s Journey into Certification,” received the Best Paper of the Year Award for 2019 from the Society of Research Administrators International at the group’s annual meeting, held Oct. 19-23 in San Francisco.

Johns was one of three finalists, including one from Duke University and one from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, who presented papers at the conference.
