It’s hard to believe that already we are almost a month into spring, full as it is with new beginnings and the culmination of the academic year. Adding to the excitement, we have great news to share!
On April 8, U.S. News & World Report released its new rankings of veterinary medical colleges nationwide, and the UF College of Veterinary Medicine has risen two spots to land at No. 5! The full rankings can be found here.
Although the national rankings are but one indicator of our success, they represent a metric in recognizing excellence across our missions of teaching, research, patient care and community outreach. They are a direct reflection of the passion I see every day in our faculty, staff and students, along with their commitment to advancing animal, human and environmental health. To have our collective efforts recognized by this national metric is extremely rewarding.
