Miller Vanek

Congratulations to Miller, a special 11-year-old Lab owned by the Vanek family of the Keys. Miller is happy and doing well seven months after UF veterinary neurologists removed what they could of his brain tumor. Soon after, Miller became involved in a University of Georgia veterinary college study that involved the placement of chemotherapy beads into the remaining tumor. The Vaneks sent this photo to the UF treatment team in early December and expressed gratitude to Dr. Christine Senneca and others at UF, Dr. Simon Platt at UGA and others who have helped keep Miller in their lives.
