Alice Bliss-Dodd, a purchasing agent in the UF College of Veterinary Medicine’s financial services office, was honored April 20 with a university-level Superior Accomplishment Award, the program’s highest honor.

This prestigious designation means that Bliss-Dodd is the top winner in her category across the university.

Among the reasons for her nomination are the role she played in managing equipment, service and commodity purchases that took place when the college opened a new veterinary hospital at World Equestrian Center in Ocala.

Nine staff members, including Bliss-Dodd,  received unit-level Superior Accomplishment Awards this year in the UF Health Science Center’s Division 5 category, which includes all six health-related colleges. Those winners were honored on March 20 at UF’s annual Superior Accomplishment Awards luncheon and ceremony, held at the Hilton University of Florida.
